Heat Island Effect makes Karachi even warmer

Global warming is beating the biggest city of Pakistan. Experts relate the extra warming-up in Karachi to a phenomena called ‘heat island effect’. Local authorities had to arrange 125 water camps to bring relief, says Commissioner of Karachi Mr. Iftikhar Ali Shallwani.
